리셉션 의미 "reception" 

친구에게 "리셉션이 뭐야? 라고 물어보세요. 

질문하면 크게 두 가지 대답이 있었습니다. 

하나는 "접수"이고 다른하나는 "연회 · 환영회 '같은 답이 나옵니다.

영어 "reception"는 동사 receive (수신)가 명사가 된 형태입니다

"호텔의 리셉션" 이라고하면 접수 · 프런트 데스크를 의미하지요

호텔의 프런트도 reception 이라고 말합니다. 

reception desk (안내 데스크)라고 부르기도합니다.

The reception desk is located on the first floor.

접수처는 1층에 있습니다.

He works at the reception counter.

그는 접수처에서 일한다.

In a hotel, the receptionist is the person whose job is to book rooms for people and answer their questions.

받아 들여 환영하는 것이며, 

그 밖에도 「환영회」라는 의미로 사용됩니다. 

손님을 환영하는 이벤트입니다.

결혼식 리셉션이라면 피로연에 해당하는 것이라고 생각할 수 있습니다.

결혼식에 초대되면 (wedding ceremony)을 하고

손님을 환영하는 의미에서 "wedding reception"이 열립니다.

A reception will be held after the wedding ceremony.

결혼식이 끝난 후 피로연이 열릴 것입니다.

The wedding reception will be held at six o'clock.

결혼 피로연은 6시에 열릴 것이다.
