A start-up has launched a line of clothing that confuses artificial intelligence (AI) cameras and stops them from recognizing the wearer.

An Italian firm has invented clothing that fools surveillance cameras into thinking you’re an animal.

The camera will either fail to identify the wearer or it will think they are one of the animals embedded into the pattern which includes a zebra, a giraffe, or a dog, among other animals.

The goal of the Manifesto Collection is to raise awareness of the right to privacy and the protection of biometric data such as a person’s facial image — an issue that is often underrepresented despite affecting the majority of citizens around the world.

Why did Cap-able create this line?

The Italian fashion firm said the goal of the Manifesto Collection is to promote the right to privacy.

 

Furthermore, the company believes it's important to protect the biometric data of citizens around the world.

 

Cap_able CEO Rachele Didero said: "Choosing what to wear is the first act of communication we perform, every day. A choice that can be the vehicle of our values."

 

Didero called biometric data "the new oil," and said it's important to protect against the misuse of recognition cameras.

  Tanghulu is a popular street food snack in China. It consists of sweet-tart fresh fruits candy coated with a hardened sugar syrup. Once you try it, you’ll want to devour it again and again. It’s different from the sugar coated traditional candied fruit you may be used to.탕후루는 중국에서 인기 있는 길거리 음식입니다. 굳어진 설탕 시럽으로 코팅한 달콤하고 신맛이 나는 신선한 과일 사탕으로 되어 있습니다. 한번 먹어보면 계속해서 먹고 싶어질 겁니다. 설탕으로 코팅된 전통적인 설탕에 절인 과일과는 다릅니다.   My favorite is Strawberry Tanghulu, made with fresh strawberries, but you can make it with any fruit you like. It supposedly made its appearance during the Song dynasty, under Emperor Guangzong's reign.  Many stories speak of its origin. One legend has it that a beloved concubine was too ill to eat anything until a physician suggested dipping dried fruit in caramel.
