The U.K. Riots

Riots have taken place in various parts of England and in Northern Ireland, since 30 July 2024. 

The riots have involved looting, arson, and racist attacks, and have been the worst public disturbance since the 2011 England riots. 

2024년 7월 30일부터 영국의 여러 지역과 북아일랜드에서 폭동이 일어났습니다. 

이번 폭동은 약탈, 방화, 인종 차별적 공격으로 이어졌고 2011년 영국 폭동 이후 가장 심각한 대중 불안 사태가 되었습니다. 

The fatal stabbing of three young girls at a dance class in the seaside town of Southport, in the north of England, has been followed by the worst unrest the UK has seen in more than a decade.

The violence, in towns and cities across England and in Northern Ireland, has been fuelled by misinformation online, the far-right and anti-immigration sentiment.

Dozens of people are being sentenced today following unrest in parts of the UK over the last two weeks

Thousands of anti-racism protesters rallied in towns and cities across the country on Saturday.

People took to the streets in cities including Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow and London.

It follows a week of violent disorder, including attacks on hotels housing asylum seekers and the looting of shops, which was fuelled by a false rumour that the Southport triple murder suspect was a Muslim asylum seeker.
