They always say children are our future and it¡¯s always hard to argue with that. President Trump has been in the office for nearly 2 years now, and adult talks about Donald Trump pretty much all the time, but I wanted to get a sense of how kids feel about the president, so I went out to our stoop where children have been known to congregate, and I had a little sidewalk side chat with a young lady named Nora.

    Jimmy: What¡¯s your name?

    Nora: Nora

    Jimmy: How old are you?

    Nora:

Jimmy: 4 years old. I used to be 4 years old.  Did you know about that?

Nora: Yeah, and I don¡¯t live here. I live in Oregon.

    Jimmy: Are you on vacation?

    Nora: No, we¡¯re visiting Nani.

Jimmy: Oh! You¡¯re visiting Nani, your grandma?

    Nora: No

    Jimmy: Oh! Who¡¯s Nani?

Nora: Nani is my mom¡¯s mom.

    Jimmy: That¡¯s your grandma, right?

    Nora: No

Jimmy: No, she¡¯s not. So do you know who Donald Trump is?

    Nora: No

Jimmy: You don¡¯t. You¡¯ve never heard Donald Trump. Have you ever heard that name before?

Nora: I know about Donald Duck.

Jimmy: Oh, you know Donald duck?

Nora: I know about Donald Duck from Mickey Mouse Club House.

Jimmy: You know Donald Duck but you don¡¯t know Donald Trump.

Well Donald Duck is a duck and Donald Trump is the president.

    Nora:  mmm
