    Tickets to BLACKPINK¡®s upcoming Kaohsiung, Taiwan concerts are reportedly being resold by scalpers for nearly 45 times the retail price.

    Taiwan passed a law to punish so-called ticket scalpers after seeing the prices of Blackpink's concert tickets soar in the country earlier this year, warning up to three years of prison for anyone selling tickets to cultural events at a price higher than the original.

    Ticket scalpers – who snap up tickets, often in bulk, then resell them for profit on the secondary market – are back in business since large events and international acts resumed after the pandemic.

    ´ë±Ô¸ð Çà»ç¿Í ±¹Á¦ Çà»ç°¡ ´ëÀ¯Çà ÀÌÈÄ Àç°³µÇ¸é¼­ ƼÄÏ ¾ÏÇ¥»ó(´ëºÎºÐ ´ë·®À¸·Î ƼÄÏÀ» ±¸¸ÅÇÑ ´ÙÀ½ 2Â÷ ½ÃÀå¿¡¼­ ÀÌÀÍÀ» À§ÇØ ÀçÆǸÅ)µéÀÌ ´Ù½Ã ¿µ¾÷À» ½ÃÀÛÇß½À´Ï´Ù.

     

     

     

    "People using misleading information and methods including online algorithms to buy large quantities of tickets for resale could face a maximum three-year prison sentence or a fine of NT$3 million ($97,500)," according to Taiwan's Liberty Times.

    Those who make reports on scalpers will be given up to NT$100,000 or up to 20 percent of the perpetrator's fine amount as a reward.

    ´ë¸¸ÀÇ Liberty Times¿¡ µû¸£¸é "ÀçÆǸŸ¦ À§ÇØ ¸¹ÀºÆ¼ÄÏÀ» ±¸ÇØ ¿Â¶óÀÎ ¾Ë°í¸®ÁòÀ» Æ÷ÇÔÇÏ¿© ¿ÀÇØÀÇ ¼ÒÁö°¡ ÀÖ´Â ¹æ¹ýÀ» »ç¿ëÇÏ´Â »ç¶÷µéÀº ÃÖ´ë 3³â ¡¿ªÇü ¶Ç´Â NT$3¹é¸¸($97,500)ÀÇ ¹ú±Ý¿¡ óÇØÁú ¼ö ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù."

    ¾ÏÇ¥»óÀ» ½Å°íÇÏ´Â »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô´Â ÃÖ´ë NT$100,000 ¶Ç´Â °¡ÇØÀÚ ¹ú±ÝÀÇ ÃÖ´ë 20%°¡ Æ÷»ó±ÝÀ¸·Î ÁÖ¾îÁý´Ï´Ù.

     

     

     

    Ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Japan prohibited the unauthorised resale of event tickets above their sale price. The punishment was up to one year¡¯s imprisonment, a fine of up to ¥1 million (S$10,200), or both.

    In Australia¡¯s New South Wales, it is an offence to resell a ticket at more than 10 per cent above its original face value. A similar rule is in place in Victoria, Queensland and South Australia.
