    The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has announced the start of its latest project to boost rainfall. The project will use artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve enhanced rainfall prediction.

    The project's focal point will be the creation of an AI research and operations testbed in the UAE. An AI framework will be built to combine satellite observations, ground-based weather radar data, rain gauges, and numerical weather prediction estimates to determine optimal cloud seeding timings and locations.

    Cloud seeding operations conducted by the UAE enhances rain by 10 to 25 percent and the country is currently looking at AI (Artificial Intelligence) and new nano particles to triple the capacity, the director of the UAE Research Programme for Rain Enhancement Science

    Al Mazroui said cloud seeding can be carried out 24 hours. “We can do it the whole year, even during summer. Not many people know that,” said the official. “We have a roaster of pilots who are ready to take to the skies in our specially made aircraft to do cloud seeding.”

    Currently, the UAE carried out cloud seeding by identifying convective clouds and injecting small ice-like particles to modify the clouds to increase the chance of precipitation. Harmless natural salts such as potassium chloride and sodium chloride are used for cloud seeding.

    Largely an arid land, the UAE started investing in rain enhancement science with an aim to address water shortages in future and developed cutting edge technologies in weather modification. It cooperated with organizations such as the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, USA, and the US Space Agency, NASA. The UAE now has more than 60 networked weather stations, an integrated radar network, and five specialised aircraft for seeding operations.

    Scientists in the United Arab Emirates are making it rain — artificially — using electrical charges from drones to manipulate the weather and force rainfall across the desert nation. Meteorological officials released video footage this week showing a downpour over Ras al Khaimah, as well as several other regions.

    According to research from the University of Reading in the U.K., scientists created the storms using drones, which hit clouds with electricity, creating large raindrops.

It is here that the blood is digested to produce eggs. These fragrance products emit a range of chemicals including hazardous pollutants but the ingredients do not fully disclosed on the product label. Hence, they are found to cause various detrimental effects ion human health. These artificial scents can can be found in all kinds of body care and cosmetic products, as well as air fresheners, cleaning materials and laundry detergents. According to the Campaign for Safer Cosmetics, hair products are especially problematic. They include benzene derivatives (carcinogenic), aldehydes, toluene and many other known toxic chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects, central nervous system disorders and allergic reactions. Unfortunately, 30 years later, toxic ingredients continue turn up in products we use and breathe in on a daily basis.
