    The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has announced the start of its latest project to boost rainfall. The project will use artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve enhanced rainfall prediction.

    The project's focal point will be the creation of an AI research and operations testbed in the UAE. An AI framework will be built to combine satellite observations, ground-based weather radar data, rain gauges, and numerical weather prediction estimates to determine optimal cloud seeding timings and locations.

    Cloud seeding operations conducted by the UAE enhances rain by 10 to 25 percent and the country is currently looking at AI (Artificial Intelligence) and new nano particles to triple the capacity, the director of the UAE Research Programme for Rain Enhancement Science

    Al Mazroui said cloud seeding can be carried out 24 hours. “We can do it the whole year, even during summer. Not many people know that,” said the official. “We have a roaster of pilots who are ready to take to the skies in our specially made aircraft to do cloud seeding.”

    Currently, the UAE carried out cloud seeding by identifying convective clouds and injecting small ice-like particles to modify the clouds to increase the chance of precipitation. Harmless natural salts such as potassium chloride and sodium chloride are used for cloud seeding.

    Largely an arid land, the UAE started investing in rain enhancement science with an aim to address water shortages in future and developed cutting edge technologies in weather modification. It cooperated with organizations such as the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, USA, and the US Space Agency, NASA. The UAE now has more than 60 networked weather stations, an integrated radar network, and five specialised aircraft for seeding operations.

This gave way to many people having a chance for an improvement of personal housing conditions, leading to the growth of single-person households that became more prominent during the 2000s.     World's first 'artificial womb facility' is a creepy glimpse of pregnancy in future   On Friday (December 9), a filmmaker and science communicator by the name of Hashem Al-Ghaili released a concept video of an artificial womb facility called Ectolife.금요일(12월 9일), Hashem Al-Ghaili라는 이름의 영화 제작자이자 과학 커뮤니케이터는 Ectolife라는 인공 자궁 시설의 컨셉 비디오를 공개했습니다.  The said video claimed that it is the first-of-its-kind facility where 30,000 babies can be grown in a year’s time.
