​관계대명사 완벽 정리

대화할때 관계대명사를 사용하느냐 못하느냐에 따라서 중급실력과 하급실력으로 나누어지며

1. 관계대명사란?

관계대명사는 두 개의 문장을 연결하여 하나의 문장으로 만들어 주는 역할을 합니다. 

즉, 앞에 있는 명사를 수식하면서 새로운 정보를 추가해 주는 대명사입니다.

예문:

I met a man. He is a doctor.

→ I met a man who is a doctor. (나는 의사인 한 남자를 만났다.)

이처럼 who를 사용하여 "He is a doctor"를 "a man"과 연결할 수 있습니다.

2. 관계대명사의 종류

관계대명사는 대표적으로 who, whom, which, that, whose가 있으며, 

선행사의 종류와 문장에서의 역할에 따라 사용이 달라집니다.

👉 who/which 대신 that 사용 가능하지만, 격식 있는 글에서는 who/which가 더 자연스러움.
